Mysteries of the Deep presents the second release from Brooklyn-based label artist, Nathaniel Young. ‘Sin Had Left A Crimson Stain’ is a live recording that originally aired on March 13th, 2021 as a part of the Mysteries of the Deep takeover on Currents FM. The piece was written in the months leading up to the stream and recorded live in 1 take in Nathaniel’s basement studio. Coming on the tail end of the COVID Pandemic the material occupies an unsurprisingly melancholic space, and traverses themes of mortality, isolation, guilt, shame, and ultimately, hope.
